Just ordered a new catback exhaust....
For your information, the Corvette has an H-pipe. Which is dual exhaust with a cross-pipe that goes from one side to the other to stabalize the pressures or equalize.
There are three types of cross-types of duals.
Y, H, and X.
Ford's generally have X-pipes or the most common H-Pipe designs, Gm's either have Y-pipe desings or H-pipe design and Cryslers use a combination of all three.
For instance, my Neon happens to have a Y-pipe design. My Nova had an H-pipe design.
There really is no true "better than others" design, it's more or less a matter of preference and room although the X and H design does offer better flow. The Neon can only accomidate the Y-Pipe dual design due to it's small size and the fact that it's got a considerably large gas tank. I currently have a 31" glasspack Y'ed off at the rear control arm on the driver's side, no muffler (the glasspack takes care of that) and run straight out the back.
But since i've got a turbo that is about to be installed the dual will be replaced with a single 3" system and again, I will probably utilyze the glasspack instead of a muffler. My current setup will be forsale for those interested.

Smirk... down boys... play nice. If we need to release anger we would be better off channeling toward GM, Ford, and import owners.

All imports aren't bad. I just hate the kids that throw an intake and exhaust on their Honda and later that night pull up next to a corvette and start racing their engine thinkin they can win cause their car is "Fast and Furious"
I feel the same exact way thats why I like blowing their doors off with my 3000lbs 4 door 4cyl altima. Needless to say most second gen integra owners hate me

yeah i've made quite a few kills especially with my bone stock daytona. The turbo badge somehow fell off, and all of a sudden everyone thought they could "take my car" oooooops.
In this area its more domestic type cars, thiers alot of domestics that have mufflers and a intake and try and race ppl. There are a few hondas around but not nearly as much as cavaliers/s10's
you barely see any cavies with that kinda stuff up here.. I think Ive seen one.. We have some neons that are done up a lil.. mostly just have aftermarket tail lights...
Lots of beefed up trucks up here though... it is alaska though lol
