Does anyone know if I get an Exhaust system will it void my warranty??

It doesn't void the warranty unless the mod you did causes something else to malfunction, which I have never heard happening with an exhaust. If you call Crysler themselves they will tell you as long as the mod is after the cat there won't be a problem. What are you thinking of going with?

 

I don't really know what I am talking about... I just wanted to find out if it would void my warranty.
I want it to have a nice purr to it.
Do you have any suggestions?
I have found only 1 exhaust for the nitro and that was something like a cat back or back cat. I can not remember.

I have a Magnaflow Catback it sounds real good, not bad inside when cruising. Sounds real good when you get on it. This is on my truck though, my wife's Nitro still has the stock exhaust not to suer how it will sound on Nitro. Let me know what you get & how it sounds.

 

I have Gibson on my Nitro and love it. CGS and Magnaflow also have exhausts out for the Nitro. Haven't heard any complaints about any of them.

 

I had a Flowmaster 70 series muffler installed on mine. Power got bumped up a bit, purrs about the same decibel level at idle then growls when you dtick your foot in it. Cost was under $180 installed too.

Check out their website for some audio files with each muffler on some other car. It's pretty close to how the Nitro sounds.

 

Exhaust will not void your warranty if its a cat back system, its after all the stock sensors...
