Hello everyone, I'm a regular on the Dodge 2nd Gen truck forum, but have been looking at purchasing a new Nitro for my boys to use while they are in college. Reading through the post so far have me worried though. I've owned Dodge vehicles since I was in high school and have experienced some problems with different ones in the past but there seems to be a bunch of problems with the Nitro. Would really appreciate some advice and opinions onif we should make this purchase at this time or give the Nitro a little more time on the market to work out some problems. We went to test drive one yesterday and a peice of insulation fell out from under the dash while driving it.My boys and I really like these but we really can't afford to have a vehicle that's going to spend a lot of time in the shop. The boys drive about a 60 mile round trip to and from school. Thanks for any help or opinion. Jeff.

 

hey Jeff id wait a year on buying one. it seems that every brand new vehical that comes out they have to work the kinks out the first model year. but good news for you july 16th is the new model year change over along with the new KK liberty which shiould be a hit,.
