Default UConnect

Alright --- I'm really frustrated so please bare with me. I have a Motorola Razr V3m, and it will NOT work with my Uconnect. Upon some research, this phone is just not compatible. No idea why, it must be software issues. Anyways... I'm looking to buy a phone that IS compatible. Does anyone know where I can find a list of phones that will successfully pair with Uconnect, or does anyone know which phones do infact work?! I really feel like I'm at a dead end and I want to be able to use this feature on my new Nitro. Any help that you all may be able to provide to me is greatly appreciated!

Thanx NitroRTGirl

I thought any Blue Tooth phone would work. I have the same phone and it works on other Dodge vehicles, but have not tried it on a Nitro.

I just bought a 2007 Nitro SXT. I am to get a uconnect put on this weekend. I have been reading the posts about the uconnect and now I think I don't want it. I don't have a blue tooth phone yet. I have been looking for a better stereo and some are blue tooth equipped Does anyone know how this works? I am also looking for a stereo that has a direct i pod connection. Does anyone have a suggestion for replacement stereo ?.
I do LOVE this car. I got the sunburst orange color, I am so happy I went for It. It looks great.
Thanks for any info.

All Nitros come with the u-connect radio in them. Unless they have the my gig radio. THe only problem is that some dont have the Hands Free Module installed. u-connect is an option. May cost about 250 to 300 bucks for it but is nice to have. The other problem is you have idiot salesman that will tell you it has it and it really dont. NO offense to some salesmen but they are out there.

I have the exact same phone and the exact same problem. After doing a little digging in the manual and playing with the uconnect I have found out the v3m does not have the correct bluetooth software to make it work so unless there is a way of upgrading the software in the razr I guess were s.o.l
