So, its no wonder that Dodge has done it again with their newest offering, the 2010 Nitro. This thing looks like it could be an extra in a Transformers movie with a squared off frame, wide shoulder stance, 20 aluminum wheels, and exquisitely masculine styling. This is definitely not your sisters SUV!
The Nitro will be available in three models, the Heat, Detonator and Shock. All of these macho models draw their power from a standard 4.0-liter overhead cam V-6 engine and deliver 260 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission and performance suspension keep the driver in control while navigating through city jungles or off road excursions. Each model will be available in nine different exterior colors including Detonator Yellow which is so luminous it could be seen through a British fog bank at midnight. The Nitro interior is designed to be comfortable and entertaining with eight speakers, a 368-watt amplifier, nine-inch subwoofer, iPod Control, Uconnect Phone, and SIRIUS Satellite Radio. Deep tinted glass and an auto-dimming rear view mirror continue to add to the cool factor of this vehicle.
