Default 2010 Nitro Cranking Issues. intermittent

I have a 2010 Nitro that is having some intermittent starting issues... Seems sometimes after the car has been sitting for a few hours, when you try to start it up the engine cranks maybe a full turn but doesn't start. This might happen several times, but if you keep trying it will finally spin over and start. Any issues?? No codes, no mods, bone stock. Out of warranty Thanks!!

Thmupr,

I could find no service bulletins on this issue. Is the battery holding a full charge?

I believe it is. I'll put a test to it tonight to see if it's good.

Post up what you determine the cause to be.

Well, I haven't got the battery tester on it yet, but the voltage after sitting parked for 4 hours is 12.86, 12.52 with the headlights on. Doesn't seem too bad, but I'll get it load tested tomorrow.

OK. Battery tested good, no loose connections found. I'll keep on eye on it to see what does over the next few days..
