Hello. I have a 2008 Nitro 4 wheel drive V-6 engine auto that when its off the headlights along with door locks keep coming on and off on there own draining my battery everyday when its doing this I keep hearing clicking noises and its almost impossible now to lock the car using the remote on the key since this has been going on it burned out all my brake lights to the point where the contacts were black and half melted and when its idling sometimes its at like 500 rpms and other times its at 1000 rpms and this is the minute I start it Three mechanics have said its the pcm on it but none have done any dianostic's on it. The cars under warranty but the pcm is not covered and I don't have the money to get another pcm for it so its just sitting not being run while im still making payments plus paying insurance on it.
I wanted to know if this really does sound like a pcm issue or if it could be something else and if it could be a bad pcm where would be the best place to get another pcm best prices I do know that it has to be an exact match by vin and all . Any ideas and help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
