Hey all. I'm thinking of getting one of these vehicles as i saw one for sale with a manial transmission. Are these vehicles reliable? Any issues i should be aware of prior to looking at it? Would you recomment it to a friend, etc?

A rebadged Jeep Liberty. As with any used vehicle, get it checked out by a mechanic. Check for open recalls and, while not always accurate, a carfax report is a good idea.

 

My wife has one. 3.7 with the 6spd. Straight drive. 133,xxx miles. Regular oil changes. I replaced the clutch last year, and just replaced the water pump last month. Other than that, just regular wear items (tires, brakes) survived a head on collision 6 years ago with a Honda Civic. I'd buy another without hesitation. Can't speak on the 4.0? Liter v6. But the 3.7 has been great. Fairly easy to work on. Plugs take about 30 minutes to change taking your time. Just try to find out the history of it.
