Exclamation AC Flushing

I have never done this before. So I am wondering if there are any pictures or guides that anybody knows of how to flush my AC. This is for 2008 3.7.

Even where to start on it.

Why flush it? The only time I've ever flushed an a/c system was when I converted a couple of R-12 systems to R-134 and a couple of times when the compressor grenaded. Beyond that, I'll recharge when it's low. Refrigerant is pretty inert and doesn't need flushing.

I had to change the pump so there is nothing in it right now. But was told I tolled to flush it.

By pump, do you mean the compressor? Why was the compressor replaced? Was it leaking or did it come apart inside? If it was leaking, you won't need to flush it. I would replace the receiver/dryer too but then just evacuate the system. You'll need a vacuum pump to do that. A shop can pump it down and recharge it for you. If the compressor came apart inside, that will need to be flushed. You'll also need to replace the receiver/dryer as well as the orifice tube. I borrowed some equipment to do that a couple of times. You might want to hav a shop do that for you. Otherwise, the junk from the failed compressor will destroy the new one.

Great advice, I'd do what ol' grouch suggest.
