I have a friend who was told the valves needed replacing. He asked me if he should just get a rebuilt motor. I cant seem to find any pricing on getting the valves done and to get reman heads it is approx $400-$600 each then other parts and labor so I am figuring $2000-$3000 bill. Would he be better off to get a rebuilt motor? He says the truck is worth fixing even with almost 200,000 miles on it.

 

Maybe call some shops and ask?
