Picked up a black sxt 4x4 yesterday. I couldn't justify spending another $1500+ on the painted bumpers on the slt. This truck has more options than I could ever want. It's been a blast driving it around. I live in metro detroit where new cars are a plenty but I've yet to see another nitro on the road yet. I'll probably upgrade the wheels and tires in the spring and call it a day.

 

i agree with the tires and rims. the rims on my slt are very dull looking as far as im concerned there a good winter boot

 

I was looking into picking up a set of the optional 20's but someone told me that all dodge chrome rims are steel rims with a chromed plate or something pressed over the steel. I never heard of this before but I'll be looking at aftermarket wheels.

 

Dude all chrome is like that! Everything is chrome plated, it is just how it is done.

I like it, I think a lot ofpeople are going to "justify" buying a nitro this christmas, I'm going to drive one either this week or next and can't wait.

 

wildbill, add my family to the list of those justifying it for christmas. Amazing how much better I like this in person than the photos I had seen as a concept.

 

Well it's been almost a month so far since I got the nitro. It already had one recall and there's sure to be more. The passenger side door rattles very bad with the music up a little. Gas milege doesn't seem to be too great but I'll wait till the engine is broke in. Other than that it's the best vehicle I've owned.
