Default How to remove dash/console/radio on Nitro?

I am installing a Serius Sat radio (plug-n-play on top of the dash type) in my Nitro and want to run my cables through the dash. I can't figure out, however, how to get the dash apart.

I would love to see what is behing my stock radio, as well.

How do I take apart the dash/console on the Nitro!?

Kent!

Look on the sides of the dash where the dash and the door meet. Usually theres a panel that can be removed. That starts it with the screws in there. Also try looking in the windsheild air vents. And also underneath the dash and in the glove-box. Those are normal places for screws on a Dodge/plymouth vehicle

Top of dash center take out rubber mat remove two screws , pull up from back then out. Then take bezal from top & pull out (held by clips ) disc. elec. wires from heater controls , fan, etc. four screws hold radio in place remove & pull radio. takes less than ten min. to do . good luck on your mod.

danpfay99 is absolutely right. I have already installed a sirius radio module to the top of the dash (above the rubber mat and ran the wires behind the dash front. Very easy install and only takes about 10 minutes to take off or put back on
