but just as rich said, when I first got my truck I was doing maybe 13 tops. . .now I can stretch a tank out past 600 miles. . .did it today and boy am I tired.

No big fuel tank here I only have the small 34 gal tank from the factory.

We can't help it if we get better fuel mileage here in the country with farm fresh air then you can in traffic infested CA[sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]

Congrats and welcome to the club.
Sounds like you got a great deal and I doubt you will ever go back to a gasser after this. I'm curious though cause your sig doesn't say. Did you get the 5.9 or the new 6.7 Cummins?

Hey guys, so I was not planning to do this for another few years, anyway the dealership where I bought my 06 Hemi had a insane sale over the weekend.. CTD for price of a Hemi sale..
I got home from work on a friday night and wife tells me about the commercial she had heard, I figure well on sat after work I might go check it out "100 mile round trip" So I get down to the dealer and pick out a truck that I would want if they made the right deal.. almost 45K sticker price...Well after an hour I had them down to 32K... at that point there was no way I was walking out of there without a CTD...
Anyways I made the jump and got a hell of a deal...
2007 Ram 2500 SLT CTD Pearl Blue with lots of goodies, the only thing that i did not get that my 06 Hemi had was the Sat radio... Oh well I can live without it!

Oppps I did forget to put the engine in the sig, it's the 5.9. I had the choice between the 5.9 or the 6.7.. I have been wanting a 5.9 for a long time so I just could not resist. I am sure the 6.7 will be a great motor but I felt like the 5.9 was a better choice.
and DAMN I love this Diesel power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
