NEED HELP ON SHOCKS?
I HAD LES SHWAB INSTALL MY LEVEL KIT, SO TODAY IM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND I HEAR A CLANKING NOISE.
TURNS OUT TO BE THE LEFT SHOCK, WHERE IT COMES THRU THE TOP OF THE MOUNT.
THE NUT THAT SCREWS DOWN ON THE BOLT FROM THE SHOCK WAS TOTALLY LOOSE.
SO MY QUESTION IS, SHOULD THIS BE TIGHT? I CHECKED THE OTHER AND IT WAS LOOSE BUT NOT FINGER LOOSE. SO DO I TIGHTEN IT OR DOES IT HAVE TO BE AT A CERTAIN SET?
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
LES SHWAB IS 40 MINUTES AWAY OR I WOULD JUST TAKE IT BACK AND HAVE THEM DO IT.ANYHOE PROBABLY MORE KNOWLEDGE HERE.

OK, ON THE TOP OF THE FRONT SHOCK THERES A BOLT THAT PASSES UP THRU THE MOUNT(RIGHT ABOVE WHERE LEVELING SPACERS ARE PLACED) THATS THE NUT THAT WAS LOOSE. AND WAS RATTLING LIKE CRAZY.
I JUST WASNT SURE IF THEY SHOULD BE TIGHT OR IF THERE WAS A CERTAIN TORQUE SETTING.
