Default 06 versus 07

Ok I know I want a CTD. Is there any difference between a 06 and a 07? I came across a good deal on a 07 quad cab (2500, new)and a good deal ona 06 mega cab (3500 with 40 miles) . Anything I should look for or ask? (both are auto btw)

Both have the 5.9L, should have stated this earlier I guess. Kinda shying away from the 6.7L for now. Plus the prices on the 5.9L trucks are real good right now. And to think I almost bought a Duramax last month! (please don't flame me!! haha!)

At least your dropping the purse and looking at a real truck now. I would say if you want a 3/4 ton go for the 07. If you want a 1 ton go for the 06.

Some power programers and boxes don't work on the 2007's as Dodge changed some code in the ECU.

I ended up going with the 07 quad cab. Did a check on the 06 mega cab with low miles (40 miles)and it was a buy back from Dodge. Didnt say what was wrong with it, and I am sure it was fine but just wanted to start out fresh with something I know is new. Probably would have loved a mega cab but I have 33 miles on it, and I am glad I bought it. BTW they were gonna sell me the 06 mega cab for $36,000 and I got the 07 (5.9L) for $34,800

PS yes will change my sig as well!
