How do I find out my gear ratio?
I have a '05 Ram 3500 dually, with the 4 speed transmission. I don't know where to look on the axel or dif. to find out what my gear ratio is, where do I look for it, maybe somewhere other than the dif. or axel?

normaly there is a build sheet in the glove box, however sometime in 05 they did away with it.
the only way to realy tell is 1, get a build sheet, or 2. what kind of engine RPM's are you running at 60mph

You are in overdrive with the converter locked right??? Those numbers are too high for the available gearing from the factory. I have an '05 with the 4 spd auto, with 3.73 I run 2000 rpm at ~70 mph even a 4.11 should only be running 2200 at ~70.
