Those guys over at ford dont care about their customers enough to do more research before they start selling to the public. One of my patrons pulled into my store friday in a brand new 6.4 super duty with his head hung down to his knees. He said he was only getting 9mpgs out of it, and he is waiting on the recall on the flamethrower!!! I pulled the hood up and WHAT THE H^%$, Ive never seen so much cramped up s^%$ in all my 40!! There is no way in H^%$ that the average joe can even think of doing routine maintanence on these beast. Im kinda on the slim side and couldnt even get my skinny hand down into the engine compartment. The truck doesnt even have a good look to it. He said that his 6.0no that he traded would pull better. And the worst part is ,these guys wont even consider a CTD even though its a better truck for less money. Go figure

Brother believe me, I know fully well the blind faith that some of these guys have in their Fords; I call it the Blue Oval Blinders.

I don't get it, really. It's like if you had always bought a cetain pair of jeans and all of a sudden the company starting cutting them differently and they didn't feel the same. Would you still buy them, even if they weren't as comfortable or durable as before?

Whatever, everybody makes their own payment.

Well said!! Its a good thing I guess that their hard headed about their trucks. If everybody drove a CTD, average joes would not be able to afford one. And believe me Im in that catagory.

If they didn't have to roll so much cost from their warranty repairs into the new trucks, the average Joe could still afford a Ford too.

It's one of the biggest reasons I hate to hear when guys that have mod'd the snot outta their trucks, try to get stuff covered under warranty that is obviously a result of playing around. Eventually, we all pay for it when we buy a new truck.

Unfortunately, Ford did the playing around ahead of time, because the VT365 that goes into the medium duty trucks is nearly trouble free. Ford cranked up the power and it was more than it could handle.

So true, we don't have nearly the problems that ford is seeing with the 365.

I dunno guys I work for and international dealer and those 365's are a pretty big hunk of junk. There are tons of recalls out on them and they just right down suck. That is just my 2 cents but I am speaking from experience because I see them everyday.
