I bought one of these on Ebay along with a Superchips Flashpaq tuner. I installed it after tuning the truck and it seems to make my truck real sluggish? Performs better with it removed? Anybody else have experience with one of these?

I keep the truck in "towing" mode, by the way.

 

try useing a different program with the boost fooler. . .

 

You mean run it in the performance mode? Having to switch back and forth is a pain.

 

I havent messed with these boost foolers, I'm just taking a few stabs to see whats going on.

 

That superchips should already have differnt boost tables in the programming. Are you sure that aren't confusing each other?

Put the truck on it's stock program and no boost fooler. Then drive with JUST the boost fooler and see if it stills seems sluggish. Then drive with the programmer only, then programmer and boost fooler together.

Yeah, it's a pain, but so is dealing with a truck that isn;t performing how you expect it to right?

 

my boost fooler seems to be working good with my exzillerator havent had any probs yet

 

just get the wastegate. i max psi's at like 40psi or so when i floor it.
