Default Weird problem after 2nd tank fill-up on 6.7

Hi all,

I finally hit almost 400miles with my 3500 6.7 DRW. Right after I put $75 in it like 1hr ago, I started the car and it was at 3/4th. I started getting out of the gas station where engine started to get really loud. My home was 1 mile away so I drove it slowly but it definetely acted different while the engine being so loud. After it was shifting to 2nd gear, the truck was really shakey, I thought it was gonna stall.I don't really how to describe it as I only have 400 miles on it..

Now I came home. I shut off the engine, started again, still waaay too loud. I wanted to rev like to 2k rpm with like %25 throttle, it didn't wanna rev. I shut of again, wait for 10 seconds, re-start the engine, now this time, it runs like it is suppose to. Much much quieter.

Anyone knows what it can be?

Thanks

No it was diesel. Ultra-low one, so the one 6.7 needs I filled it myself. Self serve

I'm wondering if the particulate filter was going through regen mode. . .I read another thread at a different site where someone mentioned this very thing, got out and nearly cooked the hairs off his leg from the exhaust.

Either that or the fuel may have just bee aerated from the fill-up, had a bit of water, etc.

Memo....a few of us have had it kinda do the same thing with the 5.9. Mine did it ONE time, I started it an it sounds like it was gonna shake itself apart, like it was running on 3 cyclinders. It actually felt more like an injector was clogged. I got on the throttle a bit, up to about 2K rpm and it clearer right out.
