Default Sound Proofing

Has anyone tried to soundproof their interior at all? Up front in the cab things aren't bad, but if you're in the back seat things get loud and you can't hear anyone if they're talking. I'm open to ideas.

exhaust, engine noise, wind stereo?

if it is exhaust or engine noise. the spray on rubberized coating works really well. I did it on my 98 and what a difference.

people have also sprayed it inside the doors to decrease wind noise. and for better speaker sound

Engine and exhaust. I've got 4.5" exhaust and even when you don't hammer the engine its damn loud. Not that I'm complaining, I like it that way. But on long hauls with people in the cab with you it can get a little tiring.

Thanks for the info.

I took out my back seat, back wall, and carpet then put down some dyna mat or something. Some kinda stick on sound deadener. It helped some but I think most of the noise (mine anyway) is coming through the back window.
