Default speedometer adjustment

Wtih dodge, when we put bigger tires on the truck i.e. I have 315 70 17's as oppose to the 265 70 17's that are stock. Do I have too or is there a way to adjust the speedometer or does it remain accurate?

Some of the programmers let you set your tire diameter. All the computersees is the angular speed of the rear axle, one ofthe registersholds a value for the OD of the tire and the speedo reports based on those two values.
