Broken Mirror
yep little johhny said it all that is the correct removal of the mirror glass from the assembly no heat gun or any other method needed then go to a place that sells windows and windshields and they can order you a replacement and then just pop it back in
I just replaced mine monday,
I ordered the part from chrysler parts direct (Franklin sussex auto mall).

The whole mirror (Heated with spot mirror) with the plastic housing on the back was $34
You then just unplug the wires, the put a paint stick (or something to pry with) on the right side of the mirror and push it to the left (passenger sige)
The mirror pops out in your hand and you reverse the process.
Takes about 2 minutes!

i have a cracked mirror on the driver side, and cracked housing on both sides from plowing snow against buildings[:@] i wanted to do that mirror blinker light set up we have a DIY on but it would do me no good to add them to broken tow mirrors
goodluck with that mirror tho, looks like you have more options than you can count on one hand here!
