I used Diesel Demons mod this weekend !!
Ever sinceI saw it, it consumed me. I just LOVED Diesel Demon's idea of relocaing the heater plug outlet to the rear, so I did it this weekend.
I started by trying to find the hub part ... the part that you plug your cord into. This was actually harder than I thought it was going to be. I could find plenty of female hubs, but no males. I finally found one at an electrical supply house. I also picked up a box and a cover. Everything had to be modded as none of them are meant to go with each other. I used a 3 way 14 gauge wire for the run. I used a 3 way because I wanted an extra outlet for a battery charger as well as the heater cord. Again .. another Demon idea. I haven't gotten the charger yet, but the outlet is there waiting for it.
Here are the pics ... Thanks Demon for the idea !!!

Thanks man !!
I couldn't find all of the pieces in black soI painted them, but as you can see it's not holding up well. The silver box and cover just looked wrong on the black reciever.
Oh well ....

Paint tip for aluminum.
Bead blast all components the prime with zinc chromate primer then paint.
You can get zinc chromate primer from the FOB at your local airport or any good marine supply.

Too late ..
I used KILZ primer hopeing for the best, but as you can see it didn't hold up at all. It flaked right off when I went to tighten the wire hold down and screws.
Thanks for the tips though. I don't have a bead blaster and I have no clue where to get airplane paint ... that's for sure !!

Sand blasting will work too just messier.
Your local scooter shop will have a bead blast cabinet.
Any good marine supply should have zinc chromate primer. It is also used on outdrives.
The bead/sand blasting give a good satin finish for the primer to grip to.
