ok, i have a 99 ram 2500. i just got my banks otto minder chip back from being reflashed because it didnt work when i bought the truck, and so when im in 4th gear T.Q. locked up and if i boost over 12 psi it jumps down into 3rd gear almost at red line, called banks and disconnected the tps and the TQC wire. and it is sill doing this, the trunk did not do this stock. i also have a tripping out crank sensor because the tach stops working when i get on it. any one have a problem of the tranny shifting like this, i have not yet repacle the sensor but am planning on it in the next couple of days. thanks.

 

sounds like the TC is slipping and the banks if sensing that forcing the tranny to unlock it.
