Do you have an automatic transmission? Sounds like the transmission is slipping. How many miles on the truck?

yea its auto 170 thousand miles do you thinks it just torque converter or some thing deeper in ?? when you push the acellerator down far enough it does drop down a gear or out of O /D if you take it out of O/D it acts pretty normal between 50 and 60 mph , even if trans was bad wouldnt engine rpms go up as you push accellerator because when you drop below 60 mph and push acellerator rpms dont increase untill it drops a gear or out of O/D towed a boat and 1 ton of rock over 100 miles yesterday aqnd it acts same with load or with out . helpppppp !!!!!!!!!
