On the open road I get 20.1 MPG steady 70, flat ground hand calc.
Towing 5,000-6,000 lbs. I get 14.5 to 15.8 MPG towing @ about 60

With my 05 4x2 4 spd 3.73 gearing, I get 18-20 on a combo hwy and city .
Like ramspeed stated, as long as its under 2000 revs, you should get good mileage.

how accurate is the overhead consule readout in AVG MPG? I live in canada and mine read 30.5 avg mpg the other day on highway. On way back against wind it read 25.2 mpg or so.Is this accurate and if so do i add 1 or 2 mpg to that because of the canadian litre? (i have a 2005 CTD 4X4 Quad cab 2500)bought it used so i dont know if any mods were done.....

Overheads tend to be off Sally. The best way to know for sure what kinda mileage your getting is to hand calculate it.

I'm starting to wonder that myself.

I just used it for the first time last week. I haven't had to fill up yet, but I'm at 1/2 tank with almost 300 miles on it. Usually I only get about 340 or so miles out of a tank, so you'd think I'd be overjoyed, however for some reason it seems like I'll get a TON of miles up until the 1/2 way point, and then once the needle goes past the 1/2 way point, it sinks like a stone FAST !!

I may fill up tonight just to find out. I already know my truck is definately running quieter.

Cool. I have used Drews brew for the first time, but started driving the minivan as of Monday and parked the Ram, will drive it the rest of the week starting tomorrow. I am taking my trip to Oregon on 5/31 so I will see how it does then.

Meth and beautiful scenery is all I'm told is in Oregon.
