what are the available upgrades for a '93 1st gen ctd?

realizing that they are all mechanical in nature.

exhaust and intake (hard to find too) is about all I know of.

any more?

theres not too much that you can do. . .injectors and a larger exhaust houseing is about it.

thers a ton of things you can do to first gens. most of them are free. go to cumminsforum.com and go to the tech forum for first gens and theres step by step process's for doing a couple of good upgrades.
