Default How are NAPA filters?

Well it is time for an oil change and FF change. Been puttin off ordering from geno's and now Memorial Day is here (well almost). There is a NAPA here in town and was thinking about getting the filters there this time. Any suggestions for using them or not. I could go to the dealer and get them but afraid they might want quite a bit of $.

Thanks

Napa has good filters. The Napa Gold's are made by Wix. I use them and the CarQuest filters. Exact same filters, just rebranded Wix.

Well I called NAPA and they have both in stock. Some of you may laugh, but I actually tried to get them there last time, but they were out of stock and next shipment wouldn't be for 2-3 weeks.

They said the Oil filter was numbered 7620, does that sound right?

Thanks

WIX filters are good and will work. just stay away from FRAM. they are ok for gassers, just dont use them on a diesel. the oil pressure will cause the internals to assplode
