I am looking at a new Dodge 6.7/Auto Megacab dually 4x4 and would like to go with the 22.5" wheels and tires. I hear these tires last forever but I wondered what the increased weight did to the ride adn the acceleration/braking of the 3500 truck? I am going with the 4.10 also... I'd just like some info from anyone with a new 6.7 and this wheel setup as well as other people that have made the jump??? Thanks guys![/align]
You'll be running tractor trailer tires, they will last forever and give you a really high load rating, when the tires do finally go bad, you can have them re-treaded. But if all your looking for is to not have to buy tires again, the money you'll spend on 6 wheels, hub adapters & tires could buy you four or five sets of tires. 22.5's look bad azz though, alcoa makes a nice set.
