Default Jacobs exhuast brake concern.

I have on order a exhaust brake for my 06 auto trans. My concern is know after reading about how the brake works. On their web site they talk about how it interacts with torque converter lock up. I e-mailed their tech and asked him if a power programmer would interfere with the way the brake works. He said he was not sure that I needed to contact Dodge and ask them. Well I am not going to tell Dodge I have a programmer. Has anyone installed one that has a programmer?
