Default Tranny problem?

I seem to be having problem getting reverse.
It just seems like it's not fully engaging or slipping.
I think I'm gonna try changing the filter and fluid today and see if that fixes it.
What do yall think?

is it auto or standard?

auto = adjust the reverse and low arms in the trans.

stick = clutch

Baja it is a auto.
And I just changed the filter and fluid and seems like it did the trick so
I guess if I don't have any more probs I can say I lucked out
in not going to the tranny shop.

When I put mine in reverse sometimes it doesnt go, I have to wiggle the shifter to find the sweet spot.
