Default water in fuel light

I just changed my fuel filter in my 95 Dodge 5.9 & now the "water in fuel" light stays on? I've double checked the electrical plug & put a little "electrical grease" on the pins, drained a little fuel from it too, but it still stays on.....any advise?....THANKS in advance...

Mine comes on whenever we get flooded underpasses. I ram the truck thru there like a torpedo cruisin the surface.

I'd wait a few days before doin anything else. See what happens when it dries up in that area.

Good luck with your ride.
