Default Tire Rotation

I got a 98 12V dually 4x4 (don't think it really matters but never too much info). When I got it, one of my neighbors told me I don't need to rotate my tires, BUT if i did, keep them on the same side (driver or passenger). I got the Michellin LTX's about a year ago. Anybody have any real good info? He said he got this info from big-rigs he worked on. I can see definetely rotating SRW, but is there a different opinion for duallys?

Default RE: Tire Rotation

If not using the spare when rotating the tires, usually the front tires go to the inner rear, the inner rear to the outter and the outter go to the front.
If using the spare, put it in one of the inner positions.
Hope this helps.
