Default Cat Back straight pipe?

Im thinking about doing a muffler delete. How do they sound with a straight pipe after the cat? Anyone have this setup? Or am I better off putting in a aftermarket muffler?

I like mine. It took a little while to get used to the sound inside the cab but now I hardly notice it. I love the way it sounds outside. Whenever my wife has to take it on an errand, I stand outside and watch her drive away just so I can listen to it!

Yep. Factory cat is in place but the muffler is sitting in my garage with a straight piece of pipe in it's place.

I deleted my muffler. I bought a pre bent pipe from rpmoutlet.com. It sounds awsome!! I love it. It is loudwhenI accelerate and get on it, but it quiets down when I am cruising. I was going to take the cat off, but I was affraid that it would make the exhaust too loud. Rpmoutlet.com sells the pipe for $50. Hope that helps. -Jake
