Default Debadging

I know several folks have discussed debadging on here before but I need some more info. my old truck was debadge and I really don't like the badges on my new one they're just too damn big! How much is there to it? Do I use a heat gun? Do I use the fishing line? I know some of the adhesive is going to be left so how do I get that off? Thanks.

Use fishing line and then use an "eraser wheel" on your dril, it really is very simple. I did mine just a couple of weeks ago...it took me about 30 minutes!

wd 40 also works real good on removing adhesives. Plus it won't damage paint.

I used heat gun, plastic scrpaer, then castrol degreaser (purple bottle) to get the remaining goo off, it worked great, and did not scratch at all.

To post a picture, click the "Post Reply", "Reply", or "Quote" instead of just typing in the "Fast Reply" box at the bottom. At the bottom of the "Reply to Message" box will be a "Click here to upload!" link to upload your picture(s). Browse for the file locally on your computer. The images must be in gif/txt/jpg format and no bigger than 500KB. Check the "Embed picture in post" if you want a thumbnail of the photo to appear in the post. Otherwise you'll just get an attachment link.

Good luck.
