On a 2nd gen 24v is there enough room to sneak the pan out with out hoisting the engine off its mounts?

I noticed a little sound in the bottom end, wanted to see if it was a piston pin or something. While I had the pan off, was thinking about rolling in new bearings. Figured it couldn't hurt since the pan would already be off.

Thats what I figure, bearings only cost around $50. Not much more than an oil change. Compare that to an engine if you loose a bearing.
