Default Suspension updates done!

well got in the leaf packs & the bilsteins in the rear, skyjacker d25's up front & bilsteins. took lots of pics of the whole process and will do a DIY writeup on it soon.

The ride is much improved, the roughest road nearby was throwing the truck left to right in some spots and held speeds below 65... on our test drive we never noticed anything that stood out as far as the ride goes and we were easily able get into the 70's.

here is a couple of pics... before & after. I also have measurements on the front & rear bumpers. Keep in mind that the leaf packs were not supposed to add lift unless you reuse the spacers that were already there, we used 1 and they were just under 1/2" in thickness. the front we were expecting a 1" lift beyond the 2" spacer.

anyways, comments are always welcome...

Thanks! the ride is much improved over what I pulled out, the rear leaf packs & softer springs up front make a difference. the ride quality is much better IMO. Driving down some of the rougher freeways around town is no longer a "beat the crap out of you" experience. it is alot smoother over the rough stuff.

their application chart specs a different p/n for the 2nd gen trucks. not sure why the suspension is pretty much the same for both gen trucks. might have to do with the amount of travel of the shock.

Looks sweet man!

I was going to ask about your spacers but they said "pending" on them before I got the chance so I ordered some yesterday. What about the shocks though... I asume they will fit my truck? are the front ones 2" longer for the spacers (I know they don't have to be, but I thought they might be since you had the spacers too)? How much for all four?
