Default How to remove BLUE plug from electrical block?

I have a tow package on my 2004 CTD> under the dash by the ebrake is a cluster of wire connectors. one of them is that BLUE plug for the brake controller. How do u remove that plug from the block so that I can plug connector into it? Some say there is a zip tie holding it. i dont see any zip ties whatsoever.....

mine was taped. I had to drop the wiring block down to get to the tape. The wiring block was held in with a clip.
