33's or 35's
 

Im looking to get a set of new tires and having a hard time deciding what size to go with. I like the look of 35's but i dont want to hurt my milage to bad, so i guess i might stick with 33's. What kind of miliage are you guys getting with 33's or 35's.

17.6 with 35x13.50.18, I also have the Edge Hot Juice wich is helping my mileage.

Does the truck feel a little slugish with the 35's? I got the edge as well so that is a plus.

You must not be too aware of Sharx's rep. I don't think his truck is ever sluggish.

I have 33's didnt lose any power at all, the only reason I didnt go with 35s is because Im still using the stock rims. I think 35s look better with a 10 inch rim

Yea, no doubt you got a bad truck. I was just asking because i have an old mazda on 35's and it kind of bogs down. Yea, i know its like comparing apples to oranges. I like the overall performance of my truck and i didnt want to sacrifice any performance.

The 35" will increase your Hwy. mileage about 1-2 mpg. Your rpm's will drop. So if you have 3.73 gears and w/ stock tires your driving 70mph your rpm's will be @ 2,000. With the 35" you will be @ 1,800 rpm's. Your city driving will be opposite because it will take more fuel to turn the bigger tires in stop and go traffic.

Your performance won't drop that much on stock engine. A little notice taking off the line, but you have a tuner on. So it will compensate. You will feel really no loss in performance. Hope that helps. 35" tires make the truck look good. When my 285's go, I will replace w/ 35".
