I can laughf about it now (it was about 25 years ago) except when the temp gets below 45 deg. then that finger hurts like hell because of the reduced circulation in it.

dry heat = low or no humidity ...Arizona summer
wet heat = low or excessivly high humidity....east coast, great lakes, etc
AZ ...90to 115* F day time temp....4 am temp still 90* [:@]
monsoons hit, like this past sat afternoon...temps in the 80's!!!
