Default kore leveling kit

ok, i just ordered the hd kore leveling kit for my 2003 2500 4x4 and was wondering how intensive the installation was. i have put on a kit with spacers but not one with new coils and shocks. do i need to get a spring compressor or will it all go on easy. anyone who has done this, please chime in with info.

- spanks ! !

no need for coil compressors. . .your best bet is to use floor jacks under the axel to slowly lower it down. just make sure you pull the brake caliper off so you dont snap the brake line.

thats a good kit, I have a leveling kit that I need to put in that is just the spacers.

eh, brake lines... over rated (I never removed mine, just kept an eye on the tension) I just did this install 2 weeks ago and it was simple. I did a writeup on the rear leaf packs which can be found here...

https://dodgeforum.com/m_842685/tm.htm

but never did the front writeup... it's easy however... goes like this...

jackup the front & support under frame with jackstands
remove tires
put floor jack under front diff, I used 2, one on each side.
remove shocks & shock towers, Drivers side will need to be separated before pulling the tower out, the tower & shock wont come out as an assembly on the drivers side, not enough room
unbolt the swaybar links and move the links out of the way
unbolt the drivers side (frame side) of the tracbar and move it out of the way
lower 1 side of the axle far enough down to pop the spring out, then install new spring
repeat for the other side.

the front takes about 60~90 minutes if you dont take breaks...

I can write it up with pics if you need me to, I have a bunch.

I am looking to do a Kore or Carli on my 07 2500 CTD. What does Kore charge for their kit.

Thanks,

are you sitting down ??... their suspension kits start from around 6K on go on up to 11K. Their leveling kits are a lot less but still expensive because they carry the name. Both are the top of the line kits on the market. Niether are lift kits, only suspension systems.

Your prices are for their top of the line systems. The Recon system under $1500, the Chase is about $1000 more. The leveling kit is under 1K, but it's still way more than leveling blocks.
Chase, Recon, will lift front end 2 1/2 to 3 inches, the rear about 1". Not much of a lift, but you get more travel, and control.
