My windows are pretty dark, you cant see in from the outside which is kinda cool. I am waiting to get a ticket though.

Your tint looks perfect thats probably what I will realy do next. I don't want that ticket either, but the chicks dig it.

You bought your truck brand new from the dealer, so it was a left over 06 right? If so did the dealer put on the pin stripe or did dodge put the pin stripes on some of the rams?

 

My truck was not new, it only had 5k miles on it but still not new. I have no idea if the pin stripe is factory or not, it looks like it. You cant see it in the pics but at the end of the bed on each side there is a little ram head in the stripe. The windows were tinted when I got the truck, I would have never blacked out my windows but since its already there I will keep it until I get a ticket and depending on how much the ticket is I may just keep it after taht. My biggest concern is that in the even of an accident even if I am not at fault a good attorney could probably stick it to me pretty good.

 

oh man dude, an accident, don't even say that around me, it's bad luck. It makes me sick just thinking about it. Man I've worked so hard to get my truck, if I wrecked it I probably wouldn't even care whose fault it was, I would probably just . haha

Hey on a side note, does your truck ever look maroon? Every once in a while (in the right light) mine looks that way.

 

Not really, typically red, in the sun its got an orange to it.

 

I love the color because it looks different under different kind of lights

 

bksram- I agree it is a pretty sweet color.

I initially wanted black, but more than that I wanted an 07 model with the 5.9L and 6spd and this was the only one I could find locally, haven't regreted the color since .

 

Personally I love tint for several different reasons. Its a huge security factor for me. I usually have a pretty decent stereo in my truck and usually have some expensive stuff in there so I don't want people lookin it. Second it keeps it so much cooler inside becuase the heat isn't beating in on it. The third is that its another layer of protection if something breaks the window and the tint will help hold it together. AND it looks cool. $20 a window is a great price. I haven't decided if I am going to do it myself or pay to have it done. But I'm gonna do it. I miss it.

 

I really want to do it for the sun and heat.... mostly cause it is cool though .

 

Just remember that you get what you pay for, especially on tint I paid a guy 150 to do every window in a previous truck then paid 350 to get it re tinted(its more expensive when they have to peel tint off)
