The local beer is called Parbo, it's basically a locally brewed Amstel. Leaves a NASTY hangover. But, for $1 SRD (approx $0.40 US) you can't beat it. You can get all the Carribean rum you can drink, and it's cheap to.

$1 US = $2.8 SRD. You can live real good for real little here.

Ahhhhnnnnn, no beaches here brother. The rivers here dump silt out and most of the coast is mud flats and salt marshes.

It's real cheap to catch a flight to Curacao though.

You are probably still guessing how much you've drank by how much money is left in your pocket, hahaha, thats what I do anyway, I'd be screwed. I would be passed out in some gutter gettin' mugged for the other half of the money I hadn't spent yet. hahaha!!!

 

What's even worse is using this friggin monopoly money. You think you're spending a ton of money, but find out that you spent about $10.

Me and three other folks went out for dinner and got TRASHED and it still only cost us about $100 SRD. That's like $40 US. WHEEEEEWWWW WHOOOOOO!!!

I'm gonna be a lush when I leave this place, I can see that now.

 

Curacao is tourist island brother. No violence there. Everybody is too stoned to fight.
