i was thinking about lowering by 4X2 a couple of inches in the back instead of raising the front end to level it.. then adding the lighted runnign boards. anyone still make those all metal running boards?
Something about obnoxiously large (MegaCab) and lowered, seems strange....
It might looks good, but I think with that realllllllllllllllly long cab, it'd just look out of place... Maybe photoshop it first, to see if it's what you really want?
Oh, good call frenchy, I didnt notice it was a mega. It will be tough to make a mega look good lowered at all, I would jack that puppy up! I think I read somewhere that someone is starting to make lifts for the 2x4's.
i was going for the cross between the streech limo truck and old cowboy chevy dully look.. Have you seen that 8 seconds movie with the mid 80s primer grey chevy 4x2 with the window shade up front running lights and the running boards.
You could make it one of those trucks where you hit a switch and it drops the rocker panels to the ground. You could rig it like one of those cars in the old snoop dog videos where the front end is bouncing 5 feet in the air. If you need anymore ideas I am here for you! Sorry, I am tired, I get stupid when I get tired.
It is your truck, do as you please. I personally like lift, some like lowered. enjoy the passion, I do not know where to get them, you might look at places like performance products4trucks.com and stylinconcepts. or even check your local swapmeet.
