Default Pressure Boxes ????

OK, so I got a Quadzilla XZT (65hpbox). Popped it in friday night, cranked it up and drove around the block and all seems well. We left on our trip 4:30 Saturday morning and I ran the interstate at a good steady pace 65 -70 most of the way (750 miles). I noticed my idle is different, not bad but you can feel it running, and just a touch of roughness. I got 18.9 mpg out of the first tank, still running on the second one. Does this sound normal to you guys who run pressure boxes? I have the option of disconnecting the box and running stock, and I am kicking the idea around for the trip hometo see how my mileage changes. Thoughts on this?

Frone-

Mine did the same thing. When I warmed it up in the winter, it seemed to idle kind of rough. It always ran great, but definatly noticed a difference in idle.

I have never been on a strictly highway unloaded trip before. I am thinking of removeing it for the ride home to see what happens to fuel mileage. With a lot of 60 and under driving I have seen as high as 20 before, and several 19's, but lately my mileage had been dropping and 18 and under was the norm around home.My gut tells me I would not have gotten the mileage I did running the speeds I ran without it. So far there is a little more pep but nothing wild, but I didin't expect it to be wild @ 65 hp.

sounds about right. a little pressure wont hurt a thing, but add alot of pressure and your bound to blow things.
