Default HIGH FUEL PRESSURE

I HAVE AN 05 WITH THE BANKS 6 GUN WITH SPEED LOADER AND AFE STAGE 2 AIR INTAKE KIT AND THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ON AND IS GIVING ME TWO CODES AND ARE BOTH FOR HIGH FUEL PRESSURE. WOULD LIKE HELP ON WHY THIS IS HAPPENING AND WHAT I NEED TO DO TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.....OTHER THAN TAKING THE 6 GUN OFF[:@]

the 6 gun is the problem. it is a pressure timeing box. which means it alters the fuel pressure signal to the computer to fool it into thinking the pressure is low, so it adds more pressure.with too much fuel pressureyou can 1. shorten the life of the CP3 2. kill the injectors 3. pop the rail valve. #3 is usualy what happens most, unless youve capped the rail. pop that bad boy and your looking at a $220 part from the dealer.

I would take it off and reset the codes and see if they come back. If they do, then you did something to the CP3 pump or rail valve popped. I had the Six Gun w/ PDA for two weeksand took it off (refund) because it's mostly pressure and I had second thoughts. I did not want to screw up my injectors and better yet pop my rail valve top. Also it did not stay connected between the Six Gun and PDA.
