6in lift Tires?
Hey yall! I am getting ready to install a tuff country 6in lift on my 03 Ram 2500. The recommended tire size is 37 x 12.5. My question is 1. Can I go bigger without any adverse affects? 2. Can I use the stock 17in wheels or will I have to get new wheels? I appreciate the help!

RE: 6in lift Tires?
It's all in the backspacing, widthand offset of the wheels. You want to get as close to 6" backspacing and +offset as possible w/ aftermarket wheel. Anything less you may run into rubbing the back wheel well/fender. Especially any articulationoffroading.
As for the stock wheels. I'v seen some w/ 37" on stock wheels. You can do it. Just rotate them often and use good psi inflation. You will be more prone to cupping of the tire becuase of the size of the stock wheel width (8.0"). You may want to run a wider wheel (8.5"-9").
Anything bigger than 37" I don't think it will fit w/o major rubbing.
