REAR TAIL LIGHTS STAYING ON WHEN ENGINE OFF
I was wondering if anyone could help me!! I've got a 04 2500 and when i park my truck and turn the engine off the rear tails lights stay on like my foot is on the brake(BUT IT'S NOT). Could anyone give me a hand PLEASE!!!! It's frickin' annoying!!!!!!! Thanks Alot!!
thats the most common cause.
When you get the new switch the plunger will be too long. (don't worry its self adjusting)
When instaling the new switch you have to hold the brake pedal down, after the new switch is installed slowly let the brake pedal up and the switch will self adjust. (do not attemp to adjust it by hand)

I had a cheap fix to that, I just bent the holder for the switch in towards the brake, fixed my problem. Part of the problem is that the brake sticks a little sometimes on mine, so the last switch activated to late, couldn't figure out why the brake stuck though.
