Default Hypertech Programmer

I just bought the Hypertech 3 programmer and all I can say is WOW! Definately could feel the difference in the different stages. I left it at 3 and it is great. It didn't affect the hour meter either. Programming was easy the only negative side was that they adveritsed alot of different calibrations that you can do but it is only specific to certain vechiles. But for the price it is definately woth it.

Nice. I am still having to work with Superchips next month to see if we can figure the one I have out. If not will be a great paperweight.

That's what I've got in my truck. I set it to Stage 3 a long time ago and left it there. It also works as an ODBII reader and will reset the CEL and adjust tire size for the speedo.

zixxer10r,

What year is your Ram? I've been considering buying the hypertech for my 2000 year model but have read mixed information on what other programming is available on the 2000 models. I mean some things indicate I would be able to program tire size changes in while other information says not fo rthe 2000 year model.
The other box manufactures don't make programers back to the earlier models.

Regards, Glenn

I've had mine for almost a year and never changed it from stage 3 ever. It does great when you also pull some weight with it. I think the recalibration for the tire size doesn't work though.
