AAHHH I'm GOING CRAZY!!!!
ok this is really really really starting to **** me off, the dealership for my truck won't pay a cent for my tranny that went out a week after I bought it, So I decided to go pay a visit to a lawyer today, he basically said that my chances were slim but he would try to help me, well after I decided to go to my bank to see if I could get a loan for my tranny to get fixed and as they were checking up on it it crossed my mind to ask them if they have recieved a title for the truck (keep in mind its been 3 months since ive had the truck) and it turns out they still don't have the title, so I think the dealership doesn't even have the title wich would explain why my plates aren't in yet and why they can't prove the emissions and inspections were done on it. does anyone have any idea if them not having the title will help me in a lawsuit? thanks for any info guys!
I dont know about that, perhaps they just suck at paperwork. I would talk to the bank further about the matter, they have more money and far more influence than you do. Maybe they can get the money back from the dealer (since its really the banks money, not yours) if there is some shady activity. I would also check state laws and see if there is anything warranty, like maybe 30 days and you can give it back or they have to fix it.
thats the thing, the dealership has been shady the whole time, and they basically told me they would fix the truck and kept it at the shop until the warranty was up and then said the warranty wouldn't cover it and there was nothing they could do for me.
Do you have something in writing that shows when the truck went into their shop?
